Our Story

Founded by Jimmy and Amanda Armstrong, Funky Town Mall began with their original store, Funky Junky, in downtown Russellville back in 2012. A year later, in 2013, they transformed the concept into what is now Funky Town Mall—creating a vibrant "garden of people under one roof," inspired by their love for an extraordinary, vintage retro vibe. With a large variety of gift ideas; literally something for the whole family.

What began as a singular shop quickly evolved: locals approached Amanda asking to set up shop themselves, so she welcomed vendors and turned the space into a collaborative community marketplace. Together, Amanda and Jimmy crafted a unique retail experience—a scavenger-hunt-style shopping atmosphere where every booth offers something unexpected and every visit invites discovery.
